PantryShift FAQ
Questions, answered calmly.
Clear answers for parents deciding whether PantryShift fits their family.
Is PantryShift medical advice?
No. PantryShift is a family routine tool, not a medical device, diagnosis, treatment, or nutrition prescription. Families managing allergies, medical conditions, feeding difficulties, or eating-disorder concerns should work with a qualified professional.
Does PantryShift count calories?
No. The MVP focuses on one frequent sweet drink and simple replacement moments. It does not track calories, weight, BMI, or every food your family eats.
What if we miss a day?
You can keep going. PantryShift does not punish missed days or broken streaks. It helps you name the obstacle, choose one useful adjustment, and continue at a pace that fits real family life.
Where is family data stored?
The MVP is local-first. Family profiles, drink logs, plans, and progress stay on the parent’s iPhone. Parents can export a readable summary or delete family data from the app.
